This descriptive study has been undertaken on a sample of 165 faculty members working in private universities around Chandigarh. The study found that affective commitment partially mediates the relationship between JS and OCB; and normative commitment fully mediates the relationship between JS and OCB. This study will help educational institutions to understand the importance of satisfied and committed faculty in order to ensure citizenship behavior.
